ABOUT FOIL PLAY
Foil Play started trading in May 2004, so is 14 in 2018. The site offers a huge choice of thousands of items to help you create beautiful and enjoyable craft projects, including an extensive choice of rub on foils, ultra fine glitters, decoupage, toppers, peel off stickers and plenty of every day crafting necessities.
Foil Play has has an enormous selection of crafting staples from classic tried and tested brands for all occasions at great prices. Many of the products have been featured on TV shopping channels QVC, Ideal World and Create & Craft.
MAKING A PURCHASE
Making a purchase is very simple. Just browse through the site, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. Once you have finished your selection, click on basket (in the top right hand corner of the screen), select checkout and you will be asked to supply a few details that I will need to process your order.
Creating an account is optional. However, if you do decide to create one, you will be able to earn loyalty points which can be used to reduce the cost of future orders.
You can pay online using credit or debit cards or via Paypal, I also accept payments by Bank Transfer, Postal Orders and Cheques. Just select the option of your choice from the drop down menu when completing checkout.
Bank Transfer details will be emailed directly to you once you have placed your order, if that is your chosen payment method.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Postage and packaging is FREE for all UK orders over £10. For UK orders of £10 or under, there is a small p&p charge of £1.50. There is no mininum order amount.
Foil Play does not ship outside the UK, I'm sorry to disappoint potential customers overseas,
Orders will be despatched by either Royal Mail or a specialist carrier depending on the size and weight of the goods ordered. Most orders will be sent by Royal Mail second class delivery, heavy or bulky orders may be sent by courier (which takes 3-5 working days to deliver). Unfortunately, it is prohibitively expensive now to send orders over 2kg by Royal Mail.
Prompt despatch is a priority and I aim to despatch your goods within two working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) after receipt of your cleared payment. Custom die cuts, which are cut to order, can take up to five working days, longer for bulk orders. I will email you to confirm despatch date for your order and will let you know if a delay is anticipated for any reason. You can also check current despatch status on the delivery times page. I am currently taking a short break - when I return, orders will be despatched from Monday 28 January 2018 onwards. I will be running a discount promotion when I return, so you may prefer to wait until then before placing your order.
Foil Play only accepts orders from the UK for delivery to UK addresses. Orders with a delivery address outside the UK will be cancelled and refunded.
All items listed on the site are physically held in stock. If you are able to put an item into your basket, then it is in stock on the website. Mistakes do happen from time to time, so in the rare event that something you have ordered is actually out of stock, I will refund you for that item, when your order is packed.

I'm often asked where to find these. If there are any current promotions running, codes will be sent out to mailing list recipients, you may also find the codes on the Foil Play blog and/or Foil Play Facebook page.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
All credit and debit card payments are processed via PaymentSense or PayPal and are conducted off this website on their secure servers. I don't have the facility to take credit card payments directly over the telephone.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
I want you to be happy with your purchases and to be assured that I comply with the requirements of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you decide that any product (with the exception of custom die cuts which are cut to order) is unsuitable for whatever reason, you can return it for a full refund.
If you wish to return your purchase(s), just let me know by email or post, within 14 days of receiving the goods. There is an optional website cancellation form if you wish to use it. The goods must be returned at your expense, within 14 days of that, in their original packaging, unused, in undamaged condition suitable for resale. In most cases you will be able to return the goods by standard Royal Mail services. If your order was particularly large, weighing over 2KG, you may need to use a courier such as MyHermes to return it, which could cost over £10.
If the error is mine (for example in the case of faulty goods or goods not as described), I will refund the cost of return shipping.
I will process your refund promptly, once the item has been received back by me. The refund will be made by the same method as your original payment. If you are returning your whole order, I will also refund any standard rate p&p that you paid on that order.
You are responsible for safekeeping of the item until it arrives back with me. When returning items I recommend that you obtain proof of postage from the Post Office.
My sole liability for items purchased is limited to the purchase price only. I accept no responsibility for any damages or costs arising from the item or its use, consequential or otherwise.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Foil Play is the trading name for me, Gill James, a sole trader. I am not VAT registered as my business turnover is below the VAT registration threshold. I am of course registered with HMRC and pay income tax.
