Current despatch status: Some delays - due to the high volume of orders received during the May 2017 flash sale, it will take longer than usual to process orders. I am working hard to get them out to you as quickly as I can.
Normal despatch times
Prompt despatch is a priority at Foil Play and I usually aim to send your order within two working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) after receipt of your cleared payment. If your order contains custom die cuts (which are cut to order) despatch may take a little longer, particularly at busy times - up to three working days after payment, longer for bulk orders.
In practice, many orders are sent out on the day they are paid for, this is of course dependent on workload so less likely at the start of the week, when there are more orders to process.
I will email you to confirm receipt of your order and again when it has been despatched. These emails are generated automatically. If you don't receive them, the most likely reasons are an invalid or incorrectly entered email address, or rejection by your spam filtering software.
Almost all orders are sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post, which usually takes 2-3 working days to arrive. Heavy or bulky orders may be sent by courier (MyHermes) which usually takes 3-5 working days to arrive.
Whilst it is generally very reliable, Royal Mail doesn't guarantee delivery times for 1st or 2nd class mail and unfortunately delays do sometimes occur - particularly during severe weather and on the run up to Christmas.
Foil Play only accepts orders from the UK for delivery to UK addresses. Orders with a delivery address outside the UK will be cancelled and refunded. There are a number of practical reasons for this - I do apologise for any disappointment caused.
I may occasionally take time off and despatch orders on my return. If this happens, I'll post the dates here at least a week beforehand.
